Waders, Fly Rods, Coats, Gloves, and Snow

I went fly fishing today in the snow. These pictures really can't convey the beauty that surrounded us (meaning my dad and I) as we veinly tried to convince the fish that our nymphs and flies were edible.

It was a complete bust. Not one bite. For either of us.

I realize the upper Deschutes isn't renowned for its winter fishing, but I couldn't resist. Who can blame me?

How many people go play in 40 degree water, in the winter, and enjoy it? Not many I suppose.
